To coincide with the theatrical release of "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian," Disney's Hollywood Studios offers a new attraction based on the film.

Costumed characters, movie props, movie sets, and behind-the-scenes footage highlight the new movie soundstage attraction called “Journey Into Narnia: Prince Caspian” at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at the Walt Disney World Resort near Orlando, Florida.

The “Journey Into Narnia: Prince Caspian” Attraction

Scheduled to officially open in early summer 2008, on May 16th the theme park initiated a preliminary meet-and-greet experience with a costumed character of Prince Caspian to coincide with the same-day theatrical release of the children’s fantasy movie The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (Walt Disney Pictures and Walden Media Films). Although the meet-and-greet experience remains open to visitors, when the attraction opens soon, it will begin with a welcoming presentation in the queue area with Narnia trivia, followed by the meet-and-greet with the Prince Caspian character against a backdrop of the “Dancing Lawn,” the location where the Narnians first confront the Prince in the film.

The attraction itself begins with director Andrew Adamson narrating behind-the-scenes footage of the making of The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. Park guests then pass through an archway carved into stone that reveals an underground vault that holds the stone table where Aslan sacrificed himself in the first Narnia movie. Authentic props from the movie set and costumes worn by the actors will be on display, in addition to structures cast from the same molds as the ones used in the film. The attraction is designed to immerse visitors in the The Chronicles of Narnia using audio and visual effects with multiple surround screens.
